About Aikman Bell · Edinburgh
Independent advice, rooted in Edinburgh.
We are an Abbeyhill firm bringing solicitors and estate agents together in one place. Whether you are moving home or dealing with a legal matter, you can speak directly with the person looking after your work.
What we do
Property and legal expertise, in one place.
For a property sale, our estate agency team handles marketing and negotiation while our solicitors take care of the legal work. You know who is responsible and how to reach them.
We also help with other legal matters, from planning ahead to dealing with a loved one’s estate.
Our story
A firm established in Abbeyhill in 2008.
Peter Aikman founded Aikman Bell at 19 Cadzow Place after working in Edinburgh and Dunfermline, and spending 15 years at his father’s practice. He brings more than 30 years of legal experience to the firm.
Today, our team brings together specialist knowledge and a direct, personal approach. We take time to explain the options and stay close to each matter from start to finish.
